After learning about the devastating tornado that struck Oklahoma on May 2013, the Irving Moskowitz Foundation without hesitation contacted the American Red Cross to give a helping hand by donating $100,000 towards the Oklahoma Tornado Relief Effort to aid the tornado victims in need.  This amount will assist the Red Cross in providing food, shelter, emotional support, relief supplies, and more.

The Irving Moskowitz foundations believe that the contribution to the relief effort will help alleviate human suffering in this time of crisis.  The Red Cross relies heavily upon donations from the public.  The Irving Moskowitz Foundation joined the Red Cross in their mission of bringing aid and hope to the tornado victims.

Contributing towards relief efforts is part of the Irving Moskowitz Foundation mission.  Founded on the basis of giving a helping hand to those in need, founders Irving Moskowitz and wife and president of the foundation, Cherna Moskowitz, share a strong passion for their humanitarian causes.  The Irving Moskowitz Foundation has made numerous generous contributions that total over $1 million dollars to the Red Cross for relief efforts.
